All packed before leaving campground
spare time so followed scenic route - no stop so no photos
Canterbury area
miles of flat then crossing range of hills terminating in gorge before flat run in to Christchurch
lovely lunch stop with grass cut paths through trees & bushes; very calming to get things sorted and clean ready for handing back
Long wait for staff but clean check with no damage found
Transfer had arrived 40 minutes early so was waiting when we were finally ready; local was chatty en route
